Gaatha Productions show Vidrohi completes a half century, cast and crew celebrate the success

Gaatha Productions (Subrat Sinha and Dr. Bodhisattva) show Vidrohi completed half century and the cast and crew celebrated on set. The series is based on the times of the pre-independence British time and explores the life-journey of Odia freedom fighter Bakshi Jagabandhu played by Sharad Malhotra. The show has definitely grabbed a lot of eyeballs and curiosity from day one for it’s unique presentation. 

Speaking of which Sharad says,”Whenever a show achieves a certain landmark it feels great. Thanks to our makers Subrat and Bodhisattva who actually came up with a show like this. I was sure that post Naagin I would like to play a character like Bakshi Jagabandhu which will change my last on screen impression. We as a team are very happy that Vidrohi has touched it’s 50th episode and now we will put more hard-work into it and will have more landmarks. “ 

Chaitrali Lokesh Gupte who plays Subarna Devi in the show says,”It’s a different show and our producers and writers have come up with an interesting concept and now it’s added to our responsibility. The best part of this show is the whole team is new to me. And this is a new journey for me. I remember from day one right from the script reading to starting shooting we have all gelled so well. Fans actually sent me messages on social media on how they have liked my chemistry with Sharad and Sulagna which is a great feeling. Behind the camera camaraderie is working for us in front of the camera also.” 

Freedom Fighter Baxi Jagabandhu Bidyadhara (played by Sharad Malhorta) and Warrior Princess Kalyani (played by actress Hemal Dev) for the first time on television.This upcoming show brings together a powerful ensemble cast that includes actors like Sulagna Panigrahi, Anang Desai, Chaitrali Gupte, Priya Tandon, Danny Sura among others.
