India: Popular actors Sahil Anand, Ritu Singh, Gunjan Pant and Vijay Kumar Singh will be seen sharing the screen for Hungama Play’s upcoming Bhojpuri original show, Saiyaan Magan Pehelwani Mein. The drama also features actors Pankaj Kumar, Rattan Singh Rajput and Ragni Chaurasiya in pivotal roles. Saiyaan Magan Pehelwani Mein is a delightful comedy about a young couple eager to get hitched but then there are fun twists and obstacles in their love story. The narrative explores their journey through mistaken identity, plotting ways to make everyone consent to their togetherness while dealing with a frenzied household, to reach their happy ending.

Known for his roles in movies like Student of The Year, Hai Apna Dil Toh Awara, Babloo Happy Hai and TV shows, Big Boss 10, M TV Roadies 4, MTV Splitsvilla 4, Sasural Simar Ka, Kasauti and Zindagi Ki, among others, Sahil Anand said, “Saiyaan Magan Pehelwani Mein weaves in elements of comedy and drama beautifully in the landscape of Pehelwani. The characters we are playing in this story are both interesting and relatable in the way they are dealing with situations that might seem familiar to the audiences. It didn’t take me much time to say yes to the show. I am sure the viewers will enjoy watching it, more so for its humour quotient.”

Ritu Singh, who has been a part of Punjabi and Bhojpuri cinema and is widely known for her movies, Dildaar Sanwariya, Dulaara, Jigar, Sarkai Lo Khatiya Jada Lage, Rabba Ishq Na Hove, Sangharsh, Special Encounter etc, added, “Saiyaan Magan Pehelwani Mein narrates a tale full of unexpected twists and turns with a heavy dose of humour. Adding to that, it’s a show that not only explores relationships but also reflects our day-to-day lives. I play the role of Khushi, an average girl struggling to keep her love life a secret from her family as she wants the one she loves to get accepted by them, especially her father.”

After having impressed fans with movies like Gunda, Qahar, Action Queen Madhubala Ka Revenge, Yeh Ishq Bada Bedardi Hai and Action Queen Madhubala among others, Gunjan Pant now thrilled to portray a character like Titli in this comedy. She said, “Titli is the wife of Veer’s (Sahil) best friend Raja (Vijay Kumar Singh). Her entry in the story adds to the drama. Depicting situations from everyday life with a twist, Saiyaan Magan Pehelwani Mein will surely hit the right chord with viewers. It feels good to be a part of such a show.”

Vijay Kumar Singh, actor and editor, who was a part of the film Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! and Triveni, TV show Bhabi Ji GharPar Hai!, added, “I am elated to be part of Saiyaan Magan Pehelwani Mein. I am playing the character of Raja, Veer’s best friend. Raja intends to clear the problems out of his love life. However, his marital status and wife Titli’s entry into the scene create a great deal of confusion and comedy in the show.”

Produced by K Sera Sera Box Office, written by K Manoj Singh and directed by Sachin Agarwal, Saiyaan Magan Pehelwani Mein will soon be available on Hungama Play and partner networks.
