Meet Violina Das : The Journey from Assam to winning Virus Miss India Universe 2021

Greetings.

Born and brought up in the land where nature has lavishly bestowed her belongings, I am Violina Das from the state of Assam and the beautiful city of Guwahati. There is a kind of musical sentiment prevalent in my family, as a result of which my father who is an ardent fan of violin, named me as Violina. The blessings of Maa Kamakhya and my passion towards modelling drove me to the modelling industry back in September 2016, and this alluring journey since then, has indeed transformed me from within.

If I confabulate of modelling, it has of course made me a confident person. It's only because of modelling that I witness a change within me like never before. Prior to stepping into the modelling field, I was a tad unconfident. I always thought myself to be skinny and it soon  became an insecurity. But modelling made me believe that I can follow my passion without putting an eye to what other people think about me or more so about the stereotypes. To be honest, I stepped into the world of modelling to follow my passion for fashion shoots.

I believe in the term 'gratitude' and that is the reason I love to accept things coming into my life with grace. In fact, I shall always love to connect with modelling, no matter what profession I follow, although both crafting and fashion together shape the person I am.

This Journey in the field of modelling has always been an exciting one for me, where I have not only learned but also gained experience as well. 

I won the prestigious Virus Miss India Universe 2021 title. I have also won a few titles like Aries Corps North-East Calendar Model 2017, Assam Talks Calendar Girl 2018, T2 Trends Calendar Model 2018.

Life for me is like a book that unfolds new mystery with every page that we flip. Hence I conclude that I'm a learner and shall keep learning till my last breath.
