Actress Shamata Anchan got hitched with her beau Gaurav Verma on 8th February

Actress Shamata Anchan who left a strong impression with shows and films like Everest and Darbar, got married to her beau Gaurav Verma in an intimate ceremony involving close friends and family on 8th February. Shamata and Gaurav both wanted to keep the wedding low profile and a private affair and hence didn’t let a lot of people know about the nuptials. 

Shamata and Gaurav have been together for almost a year, reveals a source, “After being together for a year or so, both of them felt it was the right time to take the plunge. It was a beautiful wedding comprising of northern n southern customs.” He adds. The couple will soon be flying off to Maldives for their honeymoon.

Commenting on the same, Shamata says "After a year of being together, we knew we wanted to spend the rest of our lives with each other. I’m in a really happy space personally and professionally and the new year has started of a beautiful note.” She smiles.
