Content is King – and we have a Queen who’s written the screenplay of Frankly Friendly – a 35MMCREATIONS production, in association with QDR Opus.

With a strong vision, Simita Kundu dived head-on to bring her idea to screen during Lockdown, with a film revolving around lives during lockdown. She has always had the dream to bring stories that are real and meaningful and touch as many lives as possible.

Frankly friendly is a short length film that promises to be an emotional connect for everyone with its amazing story line and execution.

With a flair for writing beautiful stories, Simita had already been writing for many reputed magazines with international reach, when this idea of Frankly Friendly came to her.

Over many video calls and discussions with Shubhankar Dutta, her associate in 35MMCREATIONS, the story just bloomed.

Shubhankar has been a promotional director for a top channel and is currently based out of London. So the collaboration is one of a kind with concept from Simita, development over zoom calls and finally the screen play by the talented actress herself.

This is her first brush with screenplay and she is showing tremendous potential. She is excited to bring her idea, to the big screen with this film. A unique story revolving around lockdown and the after effects of the same on our daily lives! This is a story of Love and Life, Hope and Bonding, Friendship and Connection, in a never-see-before, entirely original and fresh story.
