ENTREPRENEUR, SINGER, CANCER SURVIVOR; SIMANTINEE ROY IS A FIGHTER THROUGH AND THROUGH

Inspirational women are a role model we need and Simantinee Roy is one of them. A former Miss Tripura, Miss East India – Miss Photogenic Simantinee is also a Civil Engineer with a Masters in Urban & Regional Planning and an MBA. This former All India Radio artist is a Singer, Host and performer. Believes in shattering the glass ceiling, Simantinee recognizes that good education helps build a strong foundation.

She started her onstage performance career from an early age of nine.  She loved singing and boldly performed on stage so much so that performing is now second nature to her. Born and raised in a small town of India, Agartala and now lives in San Jose California, Simantinee lets nothing deter her, not even when she was diagnosed with Stage II Hodgkins Lymphoma cancer to not even a pandemic. She continues working on her music, career and constantly explores her entrepreneurial side.

A constant strife to work hard no matter what, Simantinee knows women are unstoppable and they should be raised to breathe fire, her own life’s experiences taught her this. Her venture via Spotlife Studio is not only a home for building awareness for Indian Artists talent in North America but also empowering them to have a platform to show their musical talent. A believer in empowering others she is working to make it bigger for all the Desi Talents in North America.

For Simantinee, both her ENT Surgeon Dad and her Writer & Author Mother has been her biggest inspiration. While their “can do” attitude coupled with love kept her motivated, their upbringing and raising her to be an independent and a strong woman, persuaded her to constantly uplift herself and explore her horizons to the fullest.

Simantinee has performed and hosted all across USA, Canada at some of the huge concerts and toured with some of our renowned Bollywood Artists for the past several years.
