Real talent is always a priority. Be it from any corner of the world - Simita Kundu

35MMCREATIONS Founder and producer Simita Kundu has put together an amazing cast and crew for her first film , Frankly Friendly, and has shot this movie in the most unique way possible.

The movie is shaping up just the way she had imagined and for this she is grateful to her amazing team and cast.

Though she is now settled in Mumbai, Simita is still a Kolkata girl at heart and wants to support and promote regional talent as much as possible, wherever the script demands. For her talent is the real deal. That’s what matters.

She has now collaborated with Mainak Banerjee, a very talented artist, for her first film.

Mainak ; a leading hero in the Koltata film industry, has done some notable work there. Simita has also extensively worked in prestigious projects, in the Kolkata film industry with many talented artists and directors, before stepping into Hindi mainstream industry.

They have known each other for a while and respect each other’s work.

And that’s how she handpicked Mainak for his pure talent and dedication. Shooting with Mainak, as ‘Saahil’, in the film, has been done successfully in Kolkata with the crew of 35MMCREATIONS. He has a very important part to play in this short length film and is super excited to be on board. Details of which is under wraps.

“Regional talent must get National exposure, because they absolutely deserve that kind of recognition”, says Simita.

In her own words, “ Koltata is my mother and Mumbai my work city! Both are equally important to me”.

An exciting part about Frankly Friendly is that, there is love brewing in the film and it’s a fresh take on love stories!!!
