Good Bye, Legendary Costume Designer: LEENA DARU

Veteran Costume designer Leena Daru , 81, has left on 31st  july 2020 after a brief illness.  Leena daru designed costumes for more than 400 films. She was favorite designer of Rekha, Madhuri Dixit, Shridevi, Hema Malini, Maushmi chatterji, Parveen babi, Neetu singh, Zeenat Aman , Karishma kapoor and many more. Leena Daru started her career with Asha paresh in late 60's with film Aaye Din bahar ke and never looked back for more than 40 years.
